The ad space at Stockholm’s busiest metro station was transformed into a photo exhibition challenging what and who is ”normal”. Backed by a research study on what norms are reproduced in Swedish advertising, the exhibition rendered huge media coverage and a visit from the Minister for Gender Equality, sparking an ongoing conversation.

To be an assistant nurse is the most common job in Sweden. But few people understand how tough it really is.

93% of assistant nurses are women, and they do our times heavy labor. But how do we get more people to understand that? By making them feel it. Together with Kommunal and Friskis & Svettis we developed a training pass based on an assistent nurse’s daily work and made it available for anyone to try it.

I was involved in most parts of the project from Idea & Concept, Research, Art Direction and Design to Client Presentations and Production - film, photo, website, poster, various bought media, illustration and event.
Be a man
Kommunal, Volontaire
2014

Sweden is considered one of the most progressive and gender equal countries in the world. Even so, a woman in Sweden earns a quarter million euro less than a man over the course of a working life. So what does a woman need to do to get a raise? The answer is simple: Be a man.

To protest against wage discrimination, Kommunal’s chairwoman Annelie Nordström became a man and a digital tool allowed anyone to join the protest. The campaign reached over 200 million people in 140 countries in only a few days, reaching a peak on International Women’s Day.
